The NET Proper

Welcome to Kabalikat Civicom Net.  Kabalikat Civicom or simply known as KABALIKAT is presently the largest group of responsible and active radio communicators engaged in public assistance particularly during disasters and natural calamities or whenever there is need to ensure public comfort and convenience. Kabalikat utilizes all means of communication system from among the members. It is a non-stock, nonprofit organization whose noblest motivates the public welfare. Kabalikat has almost 700 chartered groups nationwide.
Kabalikat Civicom was founded in response to a need: that of raising the standard of civic communicators to a position of high responsibility and importance. Kabalikat developed into PRIME MOVERS that immediately or at the soonest possible time responded to any exigencies or emergencies that arose.


Any civic-minded community communicators’ can apply for membership with the Kabalikat. However, he or she must not be affiliated with any radio group. All members are required to advise 10-8 and check-in for the net every day. Trafficking on a first-call first-serve basis must be observed. Emergencies should be given priorities. Two breaks or "break-break" shall mean priority call and three breaks or "break-break-break" shall mean urgent.

Kabalikat stations shall have the responsibility to monitor and assist all travelling members within his/ her area of responsibilities. All bases of members shall report any unusual incident including fire, vehicular accidents, crimes, emergencies and other events that may require the assistance of the organization. All members must exercise camaraderie, observe brotherhood and adhere to unity. The use of SIR or MA'AM is a must. The use of 10-codes is encouraged for brevity and propriety, likewise taking control to other frequencies is strictly prohibited.
